Video Tutorial on Tips on Masking with the Copic Airbrush

Morning Crafters,

I have a little tutorial for you today, but I must apologise that I seem to spend a lot of time at the bottom of the screen, my awareness of my "videoing area" needs a little more work on, so please forgive me, I'll get better, promise :)

Inlinkz was playing up when I tried to list the products but the text and banner are both from the recent Marianne Designs release Called "Banners and Text Everyday COL1324 available HERE. I stitched the circle panel and the leaves added to the prima arcadian flower.

The image is a Whimsy stamp,

The beautiful papers are again MajaDesign Spring Basics, god I love these.  I have again used some shabby white frantage.

Making it's debut is another Melissa Frances Hanger, god I love these too, lol.

LLC's 1st Birthday Blog Hop - Don't Miss This..

Morning Crafters,

Well today is a special day, we are celebrating Live and Love Crafts 1st Birthday with a Hop, wooo hoooo, so it will definitely be inspirational and worth visiting.  There is a store voucher up for grabs so someone is going to have a good shopping spree and there are hidden prizes on some of the DT so be sure to leave a comment on each of the blogs to be in with a chance of winning some candy and speaking of candy, here's some piccies of the prizes...

All the details can be found on the LLC blog and the winners will be announced on Tuesday. Here's the blog hop order in case you get lost along your way.  So if you arrived here from the oh so talented Alyce's blog, then your on the right track, if not you need to start at the LLC Blog HERE.

Tracy .... that's me

Now the DT are following the theme of "Favourites".  OMG, where do I start.  Well when I joined LLC I had already inherited the title of "Embellishment Queen", so this store is perfect for me. So let's see, if you know me then you'll already know that I love beautiful embellies and I always use beautiful lace, I just love beautiful lace, I mostly use the wide lace, but the smaller lace comes in handy for those tags.

I am also in love with the new pearl trim and I just sneaked some in on my project today, you can see it on the edge of the book on the right hand side.

I am sure you have all heard of Frantage too.  Well I did a video and gave out lots of ideas of what to do with this gorgeous invention, you can always pop back to see the video HERE,   so of course I had to use some shabby blue and shabby white on my project today, just love, love, love the texture and it certainly brings a different dimension to your projects, don't you think.

I have altered an A5 Notebook for one of my son's English Teachers.  My directive was to include a bottle of water..... what???? Apparently his teacher keeps a bottle of water on her desk and each time she has a slurp, she says just taking a swig of gin.  So this is what I have come up with.

The beautiful papers are all by MajaDesign and all links are at the bottom of the post.  I am in love with these papers, so don't buy them all before I get chance to get some more in, lol.

The beautiful butterfly is by Melissa Frances and these resin embellishments are again another favourite of mine, just love love love them too and can you see that beautiful Kort and Godt lace.  Goodness I should have given out a warning at the beginning of this post as to how many "Beautiful's", "Gorgeous's" etc I am going to say.

The image is by the wonderful Krista Smith of Saturated Canary, came to my aid perfectly don't you think and I have coloured with copic markers, and do you see the little bottle of water on the desk, lol.

Of course my card wouldn't be complete without my white Gesso, Distress Crackle Paint and Snowtex, yep, again if you know me you'll know snow tex isn't just for Christmas, right..... lol.  I absolutely love all these and again I do have a tutorial on the "white stuff" HERE and the differences between them.

Here's the inside of the Note book.  I have stamped some tags out as there are 10 in his class that want to sign the Notebook and my new Melissa Frances hanger just sneaked into the picture, who put that there......lol.

One last thing I don't think I could be without and that is distress inks, I love using the distress inks to distress edges and also to colour with, they are so versatile. Oh and OMG, I nearly forgot I always, always have some sort of flowers on my project, now I definitely couldn't live without them, my ultimate favourite, but then I have so many as you have already gathered.

Next on the hop is Louise, now I think you might be in for a treat of Pinkalicious Delights at this stop... have fun.....

It Started With a Kiss.......

Morning Crafters,

How was your weekend? Mine flew by as usual, boring housework, blah blah blah.  We did drive to the national trust area to walk Ollie but as soon as we started our walk the heavens opened.  We took cover under the trees several times but eventually returned to the car and as soon as we did, it stopped, blooming weather!  I did manage to fit in a  little crafting.  I actually think my mojo has returned, yayyyyyy.

The DT over at Live and Love Crafts this week are following the theme of Romance.  I have used the Kort and Godt Vintage wedding sheet for the main image and also cut out the head and shoulders of the two people in the Melissa Frances clay frame from the same sheet.  My thinking was..... It was a couple looking back in time and hence my title of..... "It Started with a kiss", oh bless me aren't I a romantic......

Did you notice the new Melissa Frances hanger, OMG I have been waiting ages for these and each time Sandy tried to order they were out of stock, so if you want one, grab one now whilst stock lasts.  Link at the bottom of the post.

The papers, oh my the papers, aren't they just sooooo gorgeous, I know you must be bored of me saying that but I just soooo love them.  Anyway I have used two, MayaDesign Vintage Summer Basics 1905 and Vintage Spring Basics 6th March.

Look at the new beautiful, beautiful lace and the pearl beaded trim as well, two of my new favourites.  I do love the wider lace.

The butterflies are also cut from the Kort and Godt Vintage Wedding sheet and the Kort and Godt Vintage Men, aren't they just gorgeous. The frame around the main image is by Marianne Design.

Yes, I have used some frantage again, and my goodness my video has had well over a 1,000 views and I'm still receiving emails, so thank you all for your support, I am staggered, I really am.

Here's a close up of the beautiful double Mellissa Frances frame, it comes as part of a set.  I rubbed my finger in some tumbled glass distress ink over the contours of the framework and then sprinkled a little frantage.
Here's a close up of one of the Kort and Godt butterflies cut from the sheet and I added a pen nib with the word "thoughts" on it.

Thank you for any comments you may leave today.  As usual all links are below and remember to check back tomorrow to see what our Tina has in store for us.

Lace and Pearls and Marianne's Divas

Morning Crafters,

I have something different for you today..... Well It's challenge time at Marianne's Divas and as you know my mojo went walkabouts so I thought I'd have a play at something different to see if I could trigger it and I really enjoyed making this tag.    Kjersti did a tutorial on making a tag using copic markers the Copic Marker Europe blog, so I thought I'd give it a go. Oh, by the way the challenge at Marianne's Divas is Lace and Pearls, nearly forgot that bit, lol.

I used my airbrush and copic markers E44, E47, E49 and B95 to create the background.  I then used my 6x6 brick template and again fired up the airbrush using the E79 and added a few bricks to the top left and the bottom right.  I then spritzed it with the copic activator and then stamped the Marianne Design "With Love" Stamp using Memento ink.  I added a few Paris postage stamps here and there and the wavy lines from the new Marianne Designs Stamps around the world set, love this set.

I added some lace, ribbon, beads,  a Pion Design butterfly and a white Prima Arcadian Flower to finish it off.

I also have a second card to share with you, again using Marianne Design products.  The paper is from Marianne Design Fabulous Fifties.

The ladies, Cotton City (middle of the apron), and the Dames dress table were all stamped from the Marianne Designs Fabulous Fifties Fashion CS0871 Stamp Set.

Ingredients:-
Marianne Design Cream Lace, Handmade with Love Ribbon and Linen Rope

We are being sponsored by BunnyZoe for this challenge so would love you to join us and speaking of BunnyZoe, Nikki is having a sale this weekend, so if you want to save some pennies, and let's face it we all do, then click on the picture below.

Christmas in June

Morning,

Well guys after driving half way across the country I finally got a replacement car last night.  I've gone for the lowest insurance car, a little Citroen C2 2006 but I do actually like it and I'm sure will serve the purpose.  I am also dead nervous and feel like crying as My Son is going to drive it to school today for his exam.  As you can imagine I am sooooo nervous.  I went out with him last night so he has a feel for the car but he has promised to drive carefully, but none the less I am frantic with worry.  With all the car searching I am still very behind on blogging, so I do apologise, but I do love to read your comments, so thank you soooooooo very much for still being with me. :)

It's a new week and thus a new theme over at Live and Love Crafts.  I don't know about you but I like to get ahead with Christmas Cards so am grateful that the theme this week is "Christmas in June".

I have used Inkido's Christmas Music and decided to make a monochromatic card, just love all the browns/creams together..

It's the perfect opportunity to use one of those cute little angels Sandy has in store and I added some Kort and Godt berries and a pine cone and of course some snow tex and if you saw my post last Monday you would have noticed that I did a summer card using Snow Tex, so it's not just for Christmas, lol.

Here's a picture of the Brown Crispy ribbon with a little tulle and finished with a beautiful Teardrop Pearl Centre.

I have used 3 types of lace, aren't they gorgeous, all links below.

And here's a close up of the beautiful Angels, like butter wouldn't melt, lol.

Have a good week and Tina will be back to inspire you tomorrow.
