Time is flying by. I have had my hair coloured this evening and I now can't believe the time. I wanted to share with you the card I made for my beautiful daugther is about to turn 18 this weekend. But before I do I just wanted to tell you the good news.

Firstly, my Daughter has received a place at the University we visited the other week. Out of 900 applications, only 150 spaces available so I am very happy for her.

Secondly, I have been asked to be a Guest Designer over at Crafty Cardmakers. I felt extremely honoured after being asked to do this after only two weeks of blogging. So pop on over, my card will be displayed on 22nd Feb.

Thirdly, after getting over the excitement of Crafty Cardmakers inviting me to be a guest designer, I have been asked by Lisa over at Sophisticats Challenge's to become a member of their design team.  Wow, my third lot of good news this week. So again, I feel very honoured to be joining them.  After only a short time of blogging my work has been recognised.  So as they say, watch this space.........

Tilda with Wooden Spoon

Morning,

Just thought I'd get a quick post in before I retreat back into my craft room. I could say I love this Tilda stamp, but I think I say that about every Tilda stamp, lol.

I have coloured Tilda with copics and layered her onto nestabilities oval.  I used a sizzix swirl and cut one out in brown and the other in grungeboard and painted it with acrylic paint.

I have used the Martha Steward love heart lace border punch and as this was my first sketch challenge, I was pleasantly surprised at the result and hope you will be too!

As usual I have added stickle's glue to the flowers, just love that touch!

With Love

Evening all,

Well this week has been a really busy week. I did have Wednesday off work but only to accompany my Daughter to a University interview in Northampton. Before I left I searched for craft shops in the area, he he, and took the postcodes with me so I was all ready to drop her off, shop and return, but it didn't turn out that way....... I ended up staying for the initial brief, waiting an hour for her to take her English/Maths test and then joining the tour of the University followed by paying for lunch for us all and a final presentation in the afternoon. Not at all what I was expecting........ Any way aside from that, I had to create two large leaving cards for expectant mother's in work so I have had little time for anything else.

The card below is of Tilda blowing hearts, I love this stamp and I think it will have many uses:-

Materials Used:-
Magnolia Tilda Stamp and Flourish Label
Nestabilities
Distress Inks; Worn Lipstick,  Walnut Stain,
Copic Markers for skin/hair
Glitter Glue

Little pink hearts from negative from Lace Heart Martha Stewart Punch
Papers/cardstock/flowers and pearls from stash
